SAN FRANCISCO—10gen, which sponsors the leading open source non- relational database MongoDB, announced today it will host MongoSV 2011 on December 9, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California. Software developers and data architects are anticipated to gather in unprecedented numbers to immerse themselves in the design, features, applications and internals of MongoDB. After selling out weeks before the original MongoSV conference last year, 10gen has moved the 2011 event to a larger venue to accommodate demand. Early-bird registration is open through November 11, 2011 for $50 per person.
When: December 9, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. PT
Where: Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Pkwy. Santa Clara, CA 95054
Why: MongoDB is the leading NoSQL database, with a fast-growing community of software developers replacing RDBMS large and small with the agile, feature-rich data store. Users enjoy the freedom provided by a dynamic schema and confidence in a solution that easily scales horizontally. Shaping up to set records as the largest event in 10gen history, MongoSV will feature 10gen founders and MongoDB core committers, Dwight Merriman and Eliot Horowitz, as well as President Max Schireson and MongoDB production users. Previous MongoDB conferences included speakers from Disney, Craigslist, MTV, Forbes and Intuit.
