Brig Lamoreaux: About the speaker
Brig has always enjoyed developing software and learning new technologies. Recently, he was the technical lead for PhoenixConnect at the University of Phoenix. This is the largest academically-focused community in the world and is used by hundreds of thousands of users. Brig spends most of his days now researching and developing emerging technologies.
Brig has a BS in information technology and is currently pursuing a MBA.
Shekhar Vemuri: About the speaker
Shekhar works on the Adaptive Learning systems and Forward Engineering group within Apollo Group. Over the last couple of years he has worked on building a new portal, scaling the various products to 500K user base, starting the transition to a SaaS based offering. He has also worked with various operations and product teams to incorporate Disaster Recovery measures into multiple business critical applications. He is now working on building search solutions, dabbling with big data and cloud technologies.
