One of the most common use cases for MongoDB is real time analytics. In this presentation we will go through schema design, indexing and sharding for real time analytics workloads. We'll talk in detail about the ways you can best model your data for analytics, how to make use of MongoDB's unique features to construct your system, and talk about customers employing these techniques to scale their own systems.

Before joining 10gen, Jared ran Product Development at Yottaa where he developed a real-time analytics engine on top of MongoDB and Ruby on Rails. Jared began his career by dropping out of Brown University to become the founder and CTO of TAZZ Networks.
